- Born and raised in Orillia, Ontario

- Minor hockey graduate of the Orillia Terriers and Barrie Flyers

- 4 years of Junior A hockey with the Collingwood Blues and Couchiching Terriers (96-98)

- Received Div 1 full scholarship to Bemidji State
University in 1998 (College Hockey America)

- Earned All-Rookie team honors College Hockey America in 1999; leading rookie scorer

- Joined the York Lions University hockey team in 2001

- Helped lead the York Lions to 2 CIS National Championship appearances (02-03) and 1 OUA championship title in 2003

- 5 years of professional hockey in Europe; 2 seasons in Sweden (Asploven HC and Orebro Vipers) and current season in Holland (Tilburg Trappers)

 

- Assistant youth director of Tilburg Trappers Minor Hockey and lead Power Skating Insturctor
